About Me ...
Growing up, I always loved taking pictures. My father gave me my first camera at the age of 8 and I’ve been photographing my world ever since. I graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) in 1988 with a Degree in Art. I have worked for a variety of environmental and animal related non-profit organizations, where I've incorporated my photography into every position I’ve held. This has helped me gain both experience and exposure for my photos.

Almost as much as taking photos, I have always loved traveling. I’ve traveled mainly in the US and have started traveling abroad. I believe that when we travel, we learn from many people and many cultures. We see that our differences make us special.
Photographs speak to us in a variety of ways ... whether it is a sunset, a people, animals ... or just having fun. We use photographs not only to document our lives, but to tell a story or bring back memories at a glance.
My favorite subjects to photograph are animals, oceans, water scenes, flowers and travel locals.
I am always trying to improve my photographs with the goal of creating pictures that combine colors, shapes and “fun” into a unique photo. I am always striving for the "perfect" picture. So often when it happens … it is a pleasant surprise.
I invite you to look through the galleries on this site. I hope you enjoy my photos.
